Biography 

I am from a small suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, called Adamsville. I attended high school in Gardendale, Alabama, and graduated from Tabernacle Christian School in 2014. After that, I went to a community college for two years, then to Faulkner, and finally to AUM. I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2019. I graduated in December of 2022 with my Master's Degree in Education.

This is my fourth year of teaching, but my third year at Prattville High School. I started here in January 2022. I have always wanted to teach here and love the students and staff here at Prattville High School. 

When I am not at school, you can find me in a couple of places: with my friends, at home reading, at church, or the movies. My husband and I are big movie fans and will be at the movies watching the latest Marvel movie opening night. 

I am a huge Disney person and love the parks and the music. I often play music in my classroom, primarily instrumental Disney music or Taylor Swift. I am also a HUGE Taylor Swift fan. I feel like music helps to focus students on the task at hand and it also helps to nat be sitting in silence all the time. 

My classroom goal is to make every child feel successful and welcome. There is no child I will ever turn away if they need help or talk. I will always listen. I am very passionate when it comes to advocating for children.
