Bio
I am originally from a small community located in the south eastern region of Alabama. After graduating high school, I continued my academic and athletic career at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, then continued my studies at Auburn University of Montgomery. After completing my internship, I was offered a teaching position, and this year will mark my 9th year at Prattville High School. I have had experience in teaching multiple grades at various levels as well as various elective classes. I am also involved in the athletics program at Prattville High School and am currently serving as the head cross country coach.
When I am not shopping, you can find me exploring local trails in the river region with my dogs or curled up with a good book. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and rarely sit still, so I'm always looking for adventures or new projects to take on. I'm a Disney girl at heart, and my mornings do not begin until I have had my iced coffee.
As the school's graduation coach, I work extremely hard to build lasting relationships with students, while guiding and encouraging them to be the very best student they can be. My goal each year is to help our students gain confidence in themselves not only as a student, but as a young adult. I am very passionate about my role on campus, and it makes my heart happy to see our students become successful young adults and navigate life beyond Prattville High School.
