Hi! I'm Carrie Licina, and I'm starting my 17th year in education. This year, I'm excited to be teaching Geometry and Honors Geometry at PHS. I recently completed my Ed. S. in Teacher Leadership for Math, earned National Board Certification, and hold a STEM certification through the National Institute for STEM Education. I'm also a fellow in Alabama's Practitioner Leaders for Underserved Schools in Mathematics.

Outside the classroom, I coach the robotics team and love being part of programs that help students grow through hands-on, real-world learning. Though I'm new to PHS, I'm passionate about building strong connections with students, supporting all learners, and bringing energy and clarity to math instruction. Looking forward to an amazing year!
