Library Media Center

My name is Erin Minor, and I am a proud graduate of Autauga County Schools. I graduated from Marbury High School in 2005, and then studied at Auburn University Montgomery where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education. I later advanced my education at the University of West Alabama where I received a Master’s Degree in Library Media.

My teaching career began with Montgomery Public Schools. I taught Kindergarten and Third Grade at Brewbaker Primary and Crump Elementary for a total of 6 years, and then later moved into the Librarian position at Floyd Middle Magnet. I served the students at FMMS for almost 3 years. I was able to transfer mid-year to the Media Specialist position at Autaugaville School in February of 2022, and moved to PHS in August of 2022. I currently serve as the Media Specialist and Technology Coordinator at PHS, and I am a sponsor of SGA.

My greatest joy is my son, Jacob (9), and we have a little ShihTzu, Bella. We attend East Memorial Baptist Church, and I play the clarinet in our church's orchestra.

I am currently affiliated with the following: Delta Zeta Sorority, Phi Kappa Phi, and Kappa Kappa Iota. 

The Mission of the Library Media Center is to provide a program that will ensure all students and faculty will have access to the most advanced technology and printed materials available. The mission also is to provide leadership and expertise in assisting patrons in finding and using information effectively.
