My name is John Therrell, and I am excited to kick off my second year as a Lion. This year, I will be teaching World History Honors and serving as a coach for the Prattville Football and Bowling teams.

After an incredible first year getting to know the fantastic students, families, and traditions here in Prattville, I am more motivated than ever to help our students succeed both in the classroom and on the field. My goal as an educator and coach is to foster a hard-working, supportive environment where students are challenged to reach their full potential, develop strong character, and build lasting teamwork skills.

• Education: Bachelors in Political Science - University of Nevada, Las Vegas / Masters in Sports Management - Jacksonville State University

• Hobbies: When I’m not in the classroom or coaching, I enjoy spending time with wife and my 5-year-old daughter.

I am looking forward to an amazing school year.
