I am a special education teacher with 23 years of experience in education. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, I have spent the past seven years at PHS. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping our students develop the academic, vocational, and independent living skills they need to experience success both in school and beyond. At PHS, I have helped develop and support programs that provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences, including the PAES Lab and Mane Street Cafe, school-based enterprise. I consider it a privilege to work alongside my fellow teachers and paraprofessionals in serving the student and families of Prattville High School. I am a co-sponsor of the Pratt Pals. Outside of school, I am a wife and proud mother of three children. My family and faith are important parts of my life and have shaped the sense of purpose I bring to my work as an educator.
