Hi! My name is Laura Johnson, and I’ve been working in education for 10 years, with the last 4 focused on special education. I’ve also worked in RTI and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which has given me a great foundation for supporting students in different ways. I earned my teaching degree from Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), and I truly love what I do. Helping students grow and succeed is the best part of my job. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, going for walks, watching wildlife, and spending time with my family. I’m married, have four kids and three grandkids, and our house is full—with one dog and four cats keeping things interesting! I’m excited to be part of your child’s journey this year and look forward to a great school year together!
