ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Hello and welcome to 12th Grade Government and Economics! Whether you are in one of the AP courses or honors, you should be excited for your final year of high school. In our class, we will be covering the “in’s-and-out’s” of the American government, as well as how our (and other countries') economies deal with the problem of scarcity. Most of what you need in this class will be found on Schoology. Lesson plans and the syllabus for each class are presented as hyper-links above. - BUT you can read ALL about the class in the syllabus, but you can NOT read about me! Some Specifics...
- I have been teaching at Prattville High School for eight years and have only taught government and economics courses.
- I graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education - Concentration Social Studies.
- For fun, I love to play live music with my band (ask me about this! I want to know if YOU can play an instrument!), play video games, be outside, work with antiques, and hangout with my friends.
- I was lucky enough to marry my best friend, and we just had our first child!
If you (parent or student) ever need anything, do not hesitate to reach out. You can find my contact information at the top of this page, on Schoology, through ParentSquare, and on the Syllabus. I look forward to everything we are going to learn this year.
