Prior to teaching, I was a stay-at-home mom for 13 years.  When I became a widow, I decided to go back to work doing what I truly love, teaching special needs students!  I have two grown children.  My son is a swim coach in Richmond, Virginia. My daughter is finishing her last semester of college and will be ready to teach special education in January. I have 4 animals, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. I enjoy spending time with my children and family.  I love to read, run, and read more!  I am an Auburn graduate and a "dye" hard  Auburn fan!  I love Auburn everything!!!!
