Mr. Tyquaun Porter is a native of the Auburn-Opelika, Alabama area and an alumnus of Alabama State University and Troy University. He previously taught social studies for both middle and high school before he began working as a school administrator, which he has dutifully done for the past 3 years. Mr. Porter is a motivational leader who believes in the power of building positive relationships and encouraging students to aim high for success. As a result, he is very passionate about college and career readiness and works to inspire all students to complete high school and become one of the Three E's: Enrolled, Enlisted, or Employed. While away from work, Mr. Porter enjoys attending and serving at his church, watching college football and basketball, spending time with his family, and traveling.
